About the AI
Is this actually an AI or a real person?
It is an AI. A very good one. It sounds natural, handles most calls without the caller noticing any difference, and books jobs directly into your calendar. But it is an AI, and we will never pretend otherwise. If a caller asks "am I talking to a real person?" — the AI tells them the truth. That is a line we do not cross.
What happens when the AI gets something wrong?
It will occasionally. No technology is perfect. When it does, the call is still logged and you can hear the recording. If a call was handled badly, tell us. We will use it to improve the agent for your account specifically.
Can I listen to my calls?
Yes. Every call is recorded and available in your dashboard. You will hear exactly what your customers hear. Most owners listen to the first few and then stop — because it is handling things correctly.
What if a customer gets angry or upset?
The AI is trained to de-escalate, empathise, and offer a callback from you personally. It never argues with a caller. If a situation is beyond what it can handle, it creates a priority callback event in your calendar so you see it first.
Is my customer data safe?
Your call recordings and customer data are stored securely and never sold or shared. You own your data. If you cancel, we delete it on request within 30 days.
Using Katora
How long does setup take?
Under 5 minutes. You fill in your business details, connect your Google Calendar, and forward your business number to your new Katora number. That is it. No technical knowledge required.
What if I want to change how the AI handles calls?
Log into your dashboard and update your business details — services, pricing, hours, how to handle emergencies. The AI updates within minutes.
Do I need to sign a contract?
No. Month to month. Cancel any time. Your number is yours to keep when you leave.
What trades do you support?
Pest control, lawn care, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, and landscaping. The AI is configured specifically for your trade — the language it uses, the questions it asks, and how it handles emergencies are all different per trade.
I am not very technical. Can I still use this?
If you can forward a phone call and connect a Google Calendar, you can use Katora. Most customers complete setup without any help. If you get stuck, email Jemal directly.
